It has been a week of special moments and big surprises as 麻豆区 District teachers receive 鈥淥utstanding Educator of the Year鈥 awards from the Jordan Education Foundation.

The educators are being honored as 鈥淎ll Stars鈥 for their winning ways in supporting students and giving them opportunities to reach their highest potential on the road to success. All of the teachers are nominated by colleagues, their peers, and/or parents.

It is a fast-growing club at Riverton High School where students are using their imagination, relying on teamwork, and growing their storytelling skills in a unique way.

On this episode of the Supercast, we meet members of the Dungeons and Dragons Club at Riverton High. It鈥檚 a club where students are bonding over their love of exploring dungeons, defeating dragons, and finding treasure in a fantasy world where critical thinking and creative minds are key to success.

Herriman High School Teacher Receives Honor of a Lifetime from Utah Jazz

It is a day Herriman High School business and marketing teacher Randy Kammerman will never forget. Mr. Kammerman was selected as a 2024-25 鈥淯tah Jazz Most Valuable Educator.鈥 On Thursday the Jazz Bear headed to Mr. Kammerman鈥檚 classroom with his confetti cannon, along with representatives from the Jazz organization and Instructure, to honor this beloved teacher. The Utah Jazz 鈥淢ost Valuable Educator鈥 program is a way to honor educators who are making a meaningful impact in their school, sparking curiosity, and supporting student growth.

As a Utah Jazz 鈥淢ost Valuable Educator,鈥 Mr. Kammerman received a personalized Utah Jazz Jersey, a $1,000 classroom grant, two tickets to a Utah Jazz home game, and on court recognition at a Jazz home game.

Congratulations, Mr. Kammerman! Keep up the amazing work impacting young lives in education.
