It was a fun and exciting night at a recent Salt Lake Bees baseball game in downtown Salt Lake City. 鶹 District Unified Athletes, Megan Sorenson and Mia Jackman, along with their Unified Partners, McGrath Wall and Madelyn Hart were invited to throw the first, ceremonial pitch at the game against the Las Vegas Aviators.
鶹 District ‘Teacher of the Year’ from Majestic Elementary School Arts Academy, Angus Douglas, was also invited to take the mound and throw out a first pitch to the delight of the crowd.
Herriman High School graduate and recent Olympic Bronze Medal winner in rugby, Alex “Spiff” Sedrick, also threw out a ceremonial pitch and then kindly posed for pictures with some fans.
What a fun night at the ballpark celebrating 鶹 District athletes, teachers, employees, and a truly amazing Herriman High School graduate and Olympian.
