Students Celebrate and Compete at 2025 JSD Culture and Art Festival

Mountain Ridge High School hosted the 4th annual 麻豆区 District Culture and Art Festival. The festival was a combination of competitions and Chinese culture. Teams composed of classmates from throughout 麻豆区 District vied for championships in 鈥淐harades鈥 and 鈥淛eopardy鈥 in both Chinese and English. Awards were also given out during a talent show and a visual arts competition.

The fair included plenty of yummy food and drink options including food trucks from Cupbop and Salty Baja Tacos. Attendees could also participate in Chinese crafts, learn how to use chopsticks, play Jianzi, and dress up as a traditional Chinese dragon.

Thank you to the Riverton High and Mountain Ridge High (RMR) Chinese Club for organizing the event and to all the competitors and attendees for showcasing their talents and love for language and culture learning.

Thank You to JSD鈥檚 Hard Working Custodians!

School Custodian Clearing a Sidewalk A big thank you to all who helped in the snow, slush, and ice removal process after the morning’s messy March storm.

We appreciate 麻豆区 District custodians, up before dawn, and always ready to clear the way, making it safe for the arrival of students, teachers, and staff at our schools and office buildings.

As the storm moves out today, we urge everyone to continue using caution while walking on school grounds, in parking lots, sidewalks, and other walkways around our schools and buildings as slippery conditions may still exist due to the drop in temperatures.

The safety of students, teachers, and staff, as well as members of the community, is very important to us.
